I have to give this question some seuoris thought. I am not a nutritionist and everything I am reading fruits and vegetables are staples of a balance meal. You could go on the atkins diet where you consume mainly protein but its not a healthy long term solution. Fruits and Vegetables have high amounts of fiber which makes you feel more fuller.
