Emerica Skate Shoes are a brand under Sole Technology, Inc., which is owned and founded by former professional freestyle skateboarder Pierre Andre Senizergues. After establishing its largest brand, Etnies, Sole Technology, Inc. launched Emerica in 1996.
Pierre started skateboarding at just 15 years old in a suburb of Paris, France, where he grew up. After graduating college, he moved to California in 1985 and turned pro. He quickly moved in the ranks, winning 12 French Championships, nine European Cup Titles, five European Championships, two World Cup titles, and one World Championship.
Emerica’s extensive collection of skate shoes are built with skaters in mind, big on comfort, board grip, durability, and of course, a stylish look. Emerica also produces jeans (which includes Andrew Reynolds Signature Denim), knit shirts, jackets, hoodies, t-shirts, hats, and accessories.
Emerica sponsors a team of professional skateboarders that currently consists of Aaron Suski, Andrew Reynolds, Brandon Westgate, Bryan Herman, Collin Provost, Ed Templeton, Jamie Tancowny, Jerry Hsu, Justin “Figgy” Figueroa, Kevin”Spanky” Long, Leo Romero, and Jeremy Leabres.
